My approach
I offer a collaborative, relational approach to therapy, grounded in person-centred and psychodynamic principles.
Together, we can explore the deeper patterns that shape how you feel, relate to others, and navigate the world, creating space for greater self-understanding and meaningful change.
Areas I work with
-
Anxiety and overthinking
Stress and burnout
Sleep difficulties and insomnia
Shame and self-criticism
Perfectionism and high expectations
Relationship difficulties
Emotional overwhelm
Life transitions and uncertainty
Feeling disconnected from yourself
Low self-esteem and identity concerns
People-pleasing and difficulty setting boundaries
Navigating loss and change
I am interested in understanding you as a whole person rather than focusing solely on symptoms or labels. This includes your emotions, relationships, history, values, physical wellbeing, and the wider context of your life.
A whole-person approach
The difficulties that bring us to therapy often have deeper roots. Together, we can explore patterns such as self-criticism, people-pleasing, perfectionism, withdrawal, or emotional overwhelm- ways of coping that may once have served a purpose but now feel limiting.
Looking beneath the surface
Sleep, stress and the body
My work is informed by an understanding of the close relationship between emotional wellbeing, stress, sleep, and the body. For many people, anxiety, burnout, overthinking, or disrupted sleep are connected rather than separate concerns.
Therapy is not about being told who to be or what to do. We work together to understand your experiences with curiosity and care, paying attention to your thoughts, emotions, relationships, and what matters most to you.
Relational and collaborative
We will work at a pace that feels manageable and respectful of your needs. Some sessions may focus on present challenges, while others may explore earlier experiences and the ways they continue to shape your life.
